Knowing my kids are in a safe environment at Fireflies is priceless. We had a terrible experience with a daycare before, but we feel comfortable dropping off our children every day now. They receive great care, homemade organic meals, and even learn Spanish! We couldn't be happier. Katie, Jorge, and the team are amazing people who have become our friends. I feel so fortunate to have found Fireflies this past summer. As a first-time mom, I was anxious to send my son to daycare, and it was probably harder on me than him. Katie was patient, kind, and understanding as my 13-month-old son transitioned and learned to be around other kids more often. She responded to my check-ins, frequently updated me, and sent pictures so I knew he was doing well. Fireflies love the children they care for and treat them like their own. Our kids have been going to Fireflies for six months, and it has been a fantastic experience for them and our family. Miss Katie, Mr Jorge, and Miss Carmen treat our kids like their own and are always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate. My son refused to take the bottle at our old daycare, but with Miss Carmen’s patience and affection, he now quickly drinks all of his milk.
My daughter has special dietary needs, and Ms Katie was more than willing to work with us on them. Both kids come home happy, and they look forward to the days when they get to go back. I also really appreciate how they take them outside as much as possible so they can play.

When we began the daycare search, I quickly started to feel defeated and quite hopeless that we’d never find a place that met our ridiculously high standards for where the most critical person in our life would be spending his days away from us. Then I met Katie and Jorge and let out a sigh of relief. Fireflies are everything I hoped for in a place where our son could spend his time on my work days. They have become a second family, and I genuinely feel how much they care about him. They know him and the unique things that make him. They are compassionate and calm and make him feel comfortable to thrive there. What he has learned educationally, emotionally, and socially at Fireflies is priceless. Another thing I love, which may sound weird but essential to me, is their ability to be silly and make our son feel comfortable being his silly self.
